Re: I've Got Questions: Why Suffering?

Sam, I was sick the week this video was presented. So as I watched this at 3 a.m. this morning I couldn't believe what my heart felt and how much my eyes opened. Your insight is a gift from god. As a person who is chronically suffering from pain, it is hard to realize that God knows exactly what I'm going through. (I know He does but I don't you know). Then when I think of people who are tortured to death it's hard to envelope how it's different from Christ's suffering sometimes. I know why Christ died for us and understand most of the bibles teachings but this has been one of the hardest parts for me to grasp. Until you said something like His suffering was not the same as ours. It was the equivalent to all humankinds suffering weighing down on him at once. Or that's how I interpretted it. I have felt like dying. We probably all have or will at sometime. But now when I feel like that and I think about what you have said and what I took away from your message. I will have an even deeper understanding of the fact that Jesus died for our sins. And that no one, NO ONE suffered more than the son of man himself. And I won't feel feel as bad or guilty anymore. (My faith in Christ had already helped that). And I'm also hoping that there will be many others that took the same as I did away from your message. Especially the students because life is exceptionally difficult at this stage in their lives. Thanks Sam. And thank you God for using Sam to do such wonderful things. God Bless, Melanie
